For the past 6 years, Promenade Wellington has been offering a 100% electric pedicab service on the Promenade Wellington during the pedestrianization period. Beyond the desire to offer a service for transporting people and taking them for a ride in our vehicles, we’ve chosen to make a difference, to be eco-responsible, and to connect with the community.

 

ACTIVITIES AND TASKS :

– Transport passengers from one point to another exclusively on Promenade Wellington,

– Ride the bike in accordance with traffic safety rules while following the guidelines provided by the employer,

– Provide information and advice, as needed, to passengers regarding activities, the location of businesses, or other important tourist or cultural sites,

– Engage with passengers, ensure the quality of service provided, and ensure passenger safety during each ride,

– Perform various tasks assigned by the operations supervisor in the event of service interruptions due to inclement weather or equipment breakdowns,

– Ensure at all times that the bike is in good mechanical condition and clean,

– Store the bike at the end of each shift in the location designated by the operations supervisor and be responsible for the bike’s energy management,

• Be between the ages of 18 and 35,
• Be in fairly good physical condition,
• Be comfortable working outdoors,
• Be motivated and energetic,
• Have a good sense of direction,
• Be committed to the values of the company,
• Be passionate about customer service and tourism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English is a plus.
• Knowledge of Wellington Street, its shops, the Verdun neighborhood, and its top attractions is a plus.

 

TRAINING:

– Training offered on driving, bike handling and welcoming passengers.

 

SCHEDULE

30 hours / week :

Thursday from 1 pm to 9 pm : 8 hours

Friday, 1pm to 9pm: 8 hours

Saturday 11am to 6pm: 7 hours

Sunday from 11am to 6pm : 7 hours

 

Starting date: June 25, 2026

End of position: September 13, 2026

Salary : 20$/h + tips
