As of June 1st, 2022, and for the entire summer period, Promenade Wellington will become pedestrianized between Regina Street and 6th Avenue.
The 2022 pedestrianization will be guided by the welcoming and dynamic atmosphere of the street, comfortable, flowery and shaded landscaping, even more greenery and a cultural and artistic program to spend a good time togheter. A whole green program to create a strong gathering place for the community.
Promenade Wellington is the destination to enjoy the summer!
Like last year, two major phases will mark the closure of the street. Phase 1, which consists of securing the street and putting up all the signs. Phase 2 will focus on landscaping, greening, beautification and patio furniture.
AN ACCESSIBLE DESTINATIONBY

BIKE OR BIXI – Many bike paths and several BIXI stations nearby.
CAR – More than 500 parking spaces nearby, including the Ethel parking garage with its 260 spaces.
ACCESSIBILITY – Several parking lots and drop-offs along the street for people with reduced mobility.
