On March 23 and 24, from 11:00AM to 5PM, we're turning Place Wellington into a maple grove, between Galt and de l'Église street.
Stroll through a forest filled with lumberjacks busy felling trees, chopping and sawing timber the way they did in the old days. A little further, in front of the Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs church, let your nose be your guide, and discover where the maple sap flows! The maple taffy on snow and a gourmet menu will satisfy your lumberjack appetite. Our menu is especially prepared by chefs from Promenade Wellington.
Once you're fully sated, find your inner woodsman's spirit and join in on the lumberjack contests and games, or visit our farm animals at the petting zoo. Our Djs, animation and prizes will get you in the swing of things!

WHAT IS PLACE WELLINGTON ?
For a few years now, we've tried to create a public space in front of Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs church. In this space, located close to both metro de L'Église exits, is where all Promenade Wellington events are held. We believe a public space is vital in order to create a united Verdun community.
