Retour à la vie de quartier
Cabane Panache and RECYC-QUÉBEC share 5 tips to be a green festival goer

Whether you’re a lumberjack, a jigger, a curious or a nostalgic, there are always a few simple things you can do to be the most eco-friendly version of yourself, even in mittens. That’s why Cabane Panache is partnering with RECYC-QUÉBEC to give you 5 best practices to be a proud and responsible festival-goer!

1. Bring your own reusable cup

A water bottle, a thermos, a reusable plastic glass… all options are good to avoid producing more waste. Bring what you already have at home and if you forget, Cabane Panache will not let you down! A reusable glass will be available for a small deposit of $2.

2. Stay hydrated

Of course, there will be plenty of brandy to quench your thirst, but don’t forget to hydrate yourself with the liquid blue gold! The local businesses will open their taps to fill you up!

3. Never leave home without your bag

The reusable bag is your best friend when you come to celebrate on Wellington. We eat, drink, dance and support local businesses. With your reusable bag, you make sure you don’t forget anything but your notion of time.

4. Continue to make the right recycling choices

Food scraps, recyclables, returnable containers or garbage, your materials all have a place in the right bin. Sorting stations will be in plain sight at Cabane Panache camp with proud ambassadors who will be there to guide you. And to simplify your life and continue learning at home, download the RECYC-QUÉBEC application Ça va où?

5. Contribute to the reduction of food waste

It’s no secret that preventing food waste is a smart approach to reducing your environmental footprint and making your bids profitable. The Cabane’s portions are designed to be waste-free. Just in case, keep a small reusable container in your bag to bring back your victuals.

At Cabane Panache, we are responsible and proud of it!
