The Centre La Tienda d’ici à Compostelle, established in June 2011, is the first boutique in Quebec whose mission is to offer personalized support to anyone wishing to undertake – in whole or in part – one of the roads to Santiago de Compostela.

It offers high quality hiking products, some of which are made in Quebec and specific to La Tienda, thus perfectly meeting the needs of its clientele.

Spanish language courses, preparatory walks and evening activities are also offered at La Tienda to help customers prepare for their hiking trip.

The company wishes to complete its team with a passionate, dynamic and persevering sales consultant who wishes to participate in the effervescence of the company’s growth by developing a sense of belonging.

 

Responsibilities:

• Greets and serves customers in the store.
• Advise and present products and services related to the Compostela and hiking experience.
• Works closely with management to provide a meaningful customer experience.

Desired skills:

• Related experience (sales, customer service).
• Experience and strong interest in the Santiago de Compostela trip (an asset)
• Demonstrated counseling and sales skills
• Passionate and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Fluency in spoken and written French
• Knowledge of Spanish and English (an asset)
• Mastery of computer tools

 

Schedule:

• Part-time, from 14 to 21h per week.
• Availability on Saturdays and sometimes in the evening
