Energetic and moving, the band’s modal improvisation and asymmetrical rythms are sure to get audiences up and dancing!

 

Sumak Brass Band is a Balkan brass band with a strong Romani influence, featuring a wide repertoire from the southern Balkans (Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, etc.) to Turkey and Greece.

 

The band will perform three times: at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. – at three different locations on Rue Wellington as part of the pedestrianization! Come and swing!
