The undying magic of the peasant troubadours of the South takes on a poetic, passionate and amusing air : Less Toches takes its name from a Latin American bird and a Colombian expression meaning “clumsy”. Humor and flight translate into a fresh and profound interpretation of the rustic, riverside spirit of cumbia and accordion. Their Colombian, Mexican, Cuban and Argentinian origins combine to revive the rhythms that marked their childhood through the folk tradition of Montreal’s continental cumbia.
