For its 9th edition on August 24 and 25, the 1.3 km of Promenade Wellington will come alive with spectacular puppets : object theatre, interactive tour, stop motion, human-sized or giant puppets... An abundant offer that promises incredible memories in no time at all!

17 companies from Quebec and abroad will perform on the street and in the establishments on Promenade Wellington.

Focusing on short puppet shows, the festival will offer some 60 performances in unusual locations and parks adjacent to Wellington Drive. The companies will present a variety of free creations that will fascinate and make both young and old dream. For the first time this year, a show will be presented indoors at the Quai 5160 for $5.

The Marionnettes Plein la rue Festival, presented by Desjardins, is without a doubt the ultimate family event!

The precise manipulation and absurdity of the scenes lead us into crazy stories that feature the classic figures of the Guarattelle: the lover, the dog, death... | The tour of this show is possible thanks to Casteliers, in collaboration with the
boroughs of Outremont and Villeray-St-Michel-Parc-Extension.
