Masson Stomp introduces you to the traditional jazz and swing styles of New Orleans. The group presents original compositions influenced by this repertoire, as well as by the great jazz classics of the early 20th century.

 

It was in 2010, in a small café on Masson Street, that five experienced musicians decided to combine their talents to create the Masson Stomp group. Since then, the ensemble has been very active, performing at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal in 2015 and at the Festival Jazz et Blues de Saguenay until 2018. They’ll be performing on Promenade Wellington on Thursday, August 10, for a swinging show!
