Foire des possibles – 3rd edition

The citizen-led movement Demain Verdun is organizing the third edition of the Foire des Possibles to highlight the wonderful initiatives promoting socio-ecological transition in our neighborhood!

Come join them on Saturday, September 12, on Wellington Street (between Rielle and Gordon Streets) starting at 10 a.m.!

A program of workshops, talks, and activities for the whole family will be offered throughout the day.
More than twenty local organizations and citizen groups from the borough will be on hand to envision Verdun’s future and present their concrete actions toward socio-ecological transition.
The program and list of invited organizations will be posted on the event’s Facebook page!

PROGRAM:
10 a.m.: Opening of the “Foire des possibles”

Workshop Area #1:
11 a.m.: Gilles Proulx – History of Verdun
12 p.m.: Jessica Dufresne: Right to Food
1 p.m.: Attrac-Québec: Popular Education
2 p.m..: Climate Rage: Deforestation
3 p.m.: Hochelab – Housing

Workshop Space #2:
1 p.m. : INRS: Pedestrianization Panel
2 p.m. : Urban Village and Raphaël Gonçalves: Eco-Community and Housing

4 p.m. : End of the “Foire des possibles”
