PRINCESSES is a Montreal rock trio born from a cry from the heart: the desire for a space of freedom, where everyone can be themselves, without barriers or preconceptions. No need for filters or labels. The two leaders, Flavie and Marie-Philippe, were joined by Chouchoune, the masked drummer, to unify their desire to create electrifying, unleashed songs.
Since the release of their debut EP, Face A, PRINCESSES has been racking up accolades. The band was nominated at GAMIQ in the “EP Rock and Videoclip of the Year” categories, and was chosen Future Star iHeart Radio on Énergie with the single “Vite”. PRINCESSES played the Phoque Off stage before reaching the semi-finals of the Francouvertes in 2024.
The summer of 2024 was also marked by a tour of several major festivals (Tadoussac, FRIMAT, FICG, etc.). In 2025, the band will play at Place Bell, the Festival d'été de Québec and open for Bad Religion and Billy Talent at the Festival Soif de Musique.
Keith Kouna is one of those elusive characters, endearing in his audacity, who assembles a body of work where insolence nourishes beauty. After four highly acclaimed albums and an EP, a plethora of awards, tours across the Atlantic, the brief and spectacular resurrection of cult band Les Goules and the Kid Kouna children's project, the singer-songwriter has returned with a fifth, bolder-than-ever album entitled Métastases, released on March 24, 2023.
Usually an abrasive quintet, the iconoclastic poet-punk comes to us in an acoustic format, accompanied by his old friend Martien Bélanger on guitar. Loaded with his rich repertoire, he promises you an offbeat, colorful, rebellious, touching and verve-filled ballad.
To enhance the festive atmosphere of this local Saint-Jean celebration, a bunch of free activities await you on site.
Games, music, entertainment, collective fresco and more!
Come and show off your artistic talents in a large-scale collaborative fresco designed by Verdun artist Victor Garibay.
Everyone is invited to add their touch, stroke by stroke, to create a colorful and festive collective work!
