Cabane Panache et bois rond 2018

Spurred on by the growing success of the Cabane Panache et bois rond, the whole team of the Promenade Wellington are working all out to devise a 8th edition that will be even more involving and animated. After welcoming more than 80,000 visitors from all corners, the Cabane Panache et bois rond will be making a triumphal return to rue Wellington, setting up its lumberjack camps for 4 days this time, from March 22 to 25, 2018.

Fred Fortin - One Man Band

After giving 100 shows of his tour Ultramarr, Fred Fortin, one of the most important actual composers from Quebec, returns with a solid new one man band show made out of crude resources (drums, harmonica, guitar), inspired by an intimate course of over 20 years of music.

Rednext Level was formed in the fall of 2014 when Maybe Watson and Robert Nelson begin the production of an album. The album Argent Légal was composed, written and recorded between fall 2014 and February 2016. Two song off this album, Sri Lanka and 40K, were released as music videos, the first one at the end of October 2015 and the second one in December 2015. Together, the videos accumulated more than 30,000 views.

Brown brings together two brothers, Snail Kid (Dead Obies) and Jam (K6A, Jam et P-Dox, Alaclair Ensemble), and their Jamaican father Robin Kerr (Uprising). At the time of debates about culture and Quebec identity, Brown offers the fruit of a mixed family tree. Their music reconciles roots-reggae with dancehall; Golden Age rap with New School.

KNLO aka Akena Okoko (Movezerbe, K6A, Alaclair Ensemble) is one of the most influential Quebec Hip Hop artists. Using beats from different eras, KNLO delivers his first solo rap album "Long Jeu", which addresses the themes of poverty, wealth and collective healing.

How to get a booth?

Each year, the “general store” is set up during the event, a space gathering several kiosks selling or tasting products inspired by the region. These kiosks present artisans who fit into the world of the event through their traditional know-how or a theme that is reminiscent of Quebec folk culture.

  • Registration forms will be available in December 2017
