Just a lots of sugar, lots of activities and free concerts are expected on Wellington from the 19th of March to the 22nd on this 10th edition of Cabane Panache prensented by Desjardins!

More than 100,000 lumberjacks will be strolling along Promenade Wellington for the biggest wood party in town!

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the logging camp has tons of new features to help you experience this essential part of Quebec’s identity!

Having arrived in Montreal at the age of three, Bernard Adamus has integrated perfectly into his adopted city. Unveiled through Brun's album surprise in 2009, Bernard Adamus is one of the most illustrious artisans of Quebec song in the last decade. Over the course of 3 celebrated albums that he has taken to hundreds of concerts in Quebec and France, Adamus has affirmed his love, drinking and friend stories with folk, blues, jazz and hip-hop reminiscences that define him. He promises a wonderful opening night for Cabane Panache!

Veranda is the collaboration between actress Catherine-Audrey Lachapelle (District 31) and musician Léandre Joly-Pelletier. Veranda offers a perfect blend of influences, skillfully mixing country, folk and bluegrass. The duo navigates wonderfully between the simplicity of old country and the virtuosity of bluegrass, offering rich melodies enhanced by a refined harmonic work. Imagine a secluded spot, a bucolic shack in the woods, in front of which Dolly Parton, Ralph Stanley and Emmylou Harris are quietly rocking. Veranda, that's it.

URBAN SCIENCE BRASS BAND reinvents hip-hop classics with the intensity and fire of surprise street performances. Imagine a New Orleans style brass band - trumpets, saxophones, trombones, sousaphones, tubas - with repertoire ranging from Dr. Dre to Kendrick Lamar - all complemented by MCs on megaphones, wandering drummers and street dancers. All that at the Cabane!

Originally from Montreal, the group Les filles du Roy livens up its evenings by offering its audience a "trad-sale" music of high tempo folk influence. With their compositions, the musicians take the audience on a journey to the sounds of original stories of travel, love and drink, as well as through certain pieces from Quebec's traditional repertoire. Renowned for their festive arrangements, Les filles du Roy make sure to offer a striking experience that compels smiles and dancing every time. Les filles du Roy features the violin of Marc-Antoine Tétrault, the percussion of Pierre-Philippe Loiselle, the accordion of Antoine Pigeon-Bourque, in addition to the string instruments of Jonathan Spénard on bass and Gabriel Bouchard on guitar.

The world-renowned traditional music group De Temps Antan takes over the Cabane Panache stage with its show Consolez-vous. The powerful Quebec trad trio, made up of Pierre-Luc Dupuis, Éric Beaudry and David Boulanger, won the Félix for the album trad 2018 at the ADISQ. Get ready for a high-intensity performance!

C’est dans sa ville natale de Dolbeau-Mistassini que Sara Dufour écrit ses premières chansons avec comme public les chambreurs de la maison de sa grand-mère. En spectacle, on fait la rencontre de quelqu’un d’authentique qui nous donne envie de s’évader le temps d’une escapade ou du moins, le goût de respirer la liberté pour un moment. Au volant de sa guitare, elle continue de «taper sa trail» et à se produire sur différentes scènes avec son country/folk à saveur bluegrass. Elle vous raconte des «bouttes» d’histoires à vapeur d’essence et vous entraîne dans ses aventures parsemées d’humour et de spontanéité, bien ancrées dans ses racines.

Dominique Fils-Aimé is a writer and performer from Montreal. On stage, she knows how to seduce the audience with her authenticity and her smooth voice. After the release of Nameless in 2018, Dominique Fils-Aimé will unveil Stay Tuned! the second album of her trilogy, on February 22 on Ensoul Records. In 2019, she is both the Révélation Jazz Radio-Canada and is also on the short list for the Polaris Prize.
